Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.: Rev. Palmer Cantler will lead a study called “Almost Christmas: A Wesleyan Advent Experience.” In the Chiles Room. Begins November 30

Join us for these Advent Programs:

  • Sunday, Nov. 27 (First Sunday in Advent)
  • Saturday, Dec. 3: UMW Christmas Program and Luncheon, 11 am, Chapel
  • Sunday, Dec. 4 (Second Sunday in Advent): Advent Craft Festival, 5 pm potluck dinner in Parish Hall, with crafts to follow in the Gym
  • Friday, Dec. 9: Master Arts Concert in the Nave at 7:30 PM, featuring the Knoxville Chamber Chorale, John Orr, director, and the South Doyle Choir, Hannah Berkley, director. Holiday dinner at 6 pm in Parish Hall requires reservations in advance ($30 per person; the concert at 7:30 pm is free and no ticket is required)
  • Sunday, Dec. 11 (Third Sunday in Advent): Children and Youth present Advent & Christmas music (8:30 and 11 am in the nave)
  • Sunday, Dec. 18 (Fourth Sunday in Advent): Lessons and Carols, presented by the Parish Adult Choir and TN Brass; Christmas pageant at 9:45 am in the Gym, followed by coffee and cookies

Celebrate Christmas Eve: Saturday, Dec. 24

All are welcome!

  • 12 Noon: Traditional Candlelight Communion service with soloist
  • 3 pm: Family Service geared toward families with small children
  • 7 pm: Online Worship Premiere (service available for viewing any time after 7 pm premiere)
  • 5:30 and 10:30 pm: Traditional Candlelight Communion service, prelude featuring a prelude by the Parish Adult Choir (nursery for young children will be available at the 5:30 pm service only)

Sunday, Dec. 25: Christmas Day Worship Service at 11 a.m. only (no 8:30 service and no Sunday School)
