Sunday School Classes for Youth

All Sunday School classes are held downstairs of the Church Life Center (CLC) at Church Street.

For 6th Graders
Confirmation Class is for you! What goes on in Confirmation Class?
Confirmation class lasts throughout the year from September to April and meets in CLC 11. The students study United Methodist beliefs, the life of Jesus Christ, Christian discipleship, worship, the Bible, and what it means to be a member of the church. Occasional field trips and a youth-parent retreat are part of this experience. Parents' meetings are scheduled to discuss class content and faith issues. 7th and 8th Grade Class (CLC 12)
This class, designed just for middle schoolers, picks up where confirmation left off. It's almost like a "Christian Faith 102" class. There are timely topics, an emphasis on biblical teaching and perspectives, group discussion and hands-on activities. It's a great place to catch up with friends, learn about your faith, and be challenged to make a difference for Christ.

Questination
In QUESTINATION, Youth, grades 9 thru 12, sign up for classes that are 4, 5, and 6 weeks in length and cover a variety of topics. At the end of the session youth then move to another class of their choice. In addition to the short-term options, there is an on-going class of contemporary issues that youth can float in and out of as they want or need to. This class is also the perfect option for visitors.

Some classes are Bible study-based, some topical, and others are hands-on. There is always a variety of opportunities available. Each quarter a flyer comes out that announces which classes are being offered for the next 3 months and youth register for these classes at a specific time.
