UMW Program: May 13
If there was ever an example of the United Methodist Women's "Faith, Hope and Love in Action" motto, it is the Seeker Circle from Cleveland, Tennessee's First United Methodist Church. Representatives of this Circle and church will join us on Tuesday, May 13, at 7 p.m. (Dinner at 6 p.m.) to share how they have supported the Mary Diana Samuel Orphanage in Tiruvallur, India.
Currently, 64 of India's poorest children are cared for in the orphanage, and future plans include adding more children. The orphans are girls between 4 and 10 years old, the most exploited group among India?s impoverished, according to Dr. Samuel.
Please join us for dinner at 6 p.m. by making a reservation by Friday, May 9, by calling 524-3048. The program will begin at 7 p.m.
