Thanksgiving Baskets
  [More]

This year Church Street will once again provide food baskets to local families. Feeding the hungry is a task the whole church community needs to address and you can help in one (or more) of the following ways:
? Donate $50 to supply one box of 30 items for a family in need. These items include a few traditional holiday foods but also staples that most families need.
? Join the ?Basket Blitz? during the Sunday school hour in Parish Hall on November 23 as we gather as a church to pack the boxes that will be delivered and pray for those who will receive them. Children and youth are committed to being there and they could use adult helpers.
? Volunteer to get in your car and deliver at least one box the afternoon of November 23. We will provide addresses and directions. Children?s Ministry has committed to 15, Youth Ministry has committed to 15, and we would like to challenge the rest of the congregation to do at least 15 more!

Trunk or Treat
  [More]

Our annual trick-or-treating event is scheduled for Sunday, October 26, from 5-7 p.m. in the Magnolia Lot. We need plenty of cars to fill the parking lot to make the evening fun for everyone. All you have to do is choose a theme, decorate your car, and have plenty of goodies to hand out. Please prepare for at least 100 kids. Participating cars need to be parked and ready by 4:45 p.m. Cars entering the lot after 4:45 p.m. pose a danger to children who arrive early so we ask your cooperation with this schedule.

Supper will be served outside that evening (cost: $7 for adults, $4 for children) and there will be a movie in the Parish Hall beginning at 6:15 p.m. Bring your friends and neighbors and be part of this fun fall event.
