Back to School Prayer Event
  [More]

Everyone is invited to take a few moments out of their day to enter our Nave and be in prayerful support of our children, young people, parents, and educators at every level. Public schools open on August 10, while fall semester commences for area colleges on August 19. In an era of unrest and uncertainty, our schools, school board, and all school officials face a multitude of challenges. Let us give thanks for those who devote their lives to education, and lift up to God all who gather in formal or informal settings to cultivate minds, hearts, and bodies.

The Nave and Narthex at Church Street will be open Sunday, August 9, 2-6 p.m. and Monday August 10, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. for this important endeavor. You will have the opportunity to light a candle, to pray for individuals by name by kneeling at the altar, or by walking the prayer labyrinth.
