Parish Adult Choir
at Church Street United Methodist Church
Serving, Sharing, and Expressing the Glory of God
Through the Gifts of Music
The Parish Adult Choir of Church Street United Methodist Church is deep in tradition, leading worship, providing education and musical fulfillment. Church Street is revered for the quality of its music program and performances of major works. Members of the Knoxville Symphony and others in the music community partner for worship services, special events, and free concerts during the year as part of our Master of Arts Series. Special attention is given to the current liturgical theme and seasonal major works are privately funded.
Join us each Sunday morning at 11 a.m. in person or on television through the Rejoice! broadcast, shown locally on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. on WVLT-TV and at 10 a.m. on MyVLT2. Note: To view a recent taping via streaming video, select REJOICE!.
The choir maintains the highest professional standards and is open to anyone with a commitment to musical excellence. Our mission is to reflect the praise of God and to lead people into the presence of God through the power and beauty of our music. We remember that our musical gifts come from God, that all we become is because of Him and that we are called upon to share what God has given us.
